WHERE DO YOU SHIP TOO?

We currently ship to the UK only. We will be adding more countries and territories soon so if you live outside of the areas please keep checking in. Alternatively contact us with your location and we will see what we can arrange.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

Derby Uncovered do not except returns unless the item is damaged. Please note that all of the Derby Uncovered historical products are reproductions of older source material and as such the original material that your reproduction is based on may itself have imperfections. If an item should be received damaged, please contact us with photos in the first instance before returning it to us in its original packaging. Please obtain proof of postage, as Derby Uncovered will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit and you will then need to make a claim from the postal service for your loss in this instant. Please make sure you have adequate compensation cover in your chosen postage to cover your loss should it go missing.

HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?

In stock items will be posted 1 - 2 business days after order has been received. We aim to deliver all UK-based orders within 5 - 7 working days and all overseas orders within 10 - 15 working days.

Postcards, bookmarks, greetings cards, books and art prints are sent out by Royal Mail Second Class delivery in the UK.

Derby Uncovered Newspapers are sent out by Royal Mail First Class delivery in the UK.

 

All postcards, bookmarks, art prints and greetings cards are posted in reinforced board backed envelopes to ensure that your product arrives with you safely,

ARE YOUR HISTORICAL PRODUCTS ORIGINALS?

No they are not. All of the products that you see on the site are reproductions. Our aim is to provide you the products that we do at the most reasonable amount possible, without compromising on the product quality itself.

WHAT IS THE IMAGE QUALITY OF THE HISTORICAL PRODUCTS?

We endeavour to make sure that the image quality of all our products is as good as possible. However we do ask you to understand that the originals that we are working from can be anything from 75 to over 200 years old depending on the product.

COULDN'T I JUST CREATE THESE HISTORICAL PRODUCTS MYSELF?

Yes, very much so - every image that we use is, as far as our research shows, out of copyright. What we do for you - for a very reasonable price we'd like to think - is source the best and most interesting images for you, do any dating or historical research and writing that is required, have them printed and dispatch them to your home. After all we could all start a pottery class and make our own ornaments - but most of us don't.

HOW DO THE POSTAGE CHARGES WORK?

Derby Uncovered Products - UK Delivery:

Postage is charged only once for postcards, greetings cards, art prints and bookmarks. For example if you buy three postcards and a bookmark you will not be charged any more for postage than if you purchased one postcard.

Each paid for newspaper subscription will entitle you to one copy of the newspaper, (per edition), being sent to the address regardless of whatever quantity you choose.
